Snakeskin Leather Care:
Clean your snakeskin leather accessory every 2-3 months with a dry cloth. The snakeskin may be treated with an exotic leather conditioner. Do not clean with chemical products. A very light dusting in the direction of the scales is sufficient. When not in use, store snakeskin items in a protective temperate place, lightly cover with white tissue paper in a dust cover or box.
About the Artist:
Gail DeLoach is designer-owner of her Los Angeles based store, Asiaphile, featuring Asian gift items and antique furniture on Melrose Avenue, opened in 1988. "To combine traditional Asian materials with contemporary designs is to encounter the past and present of Asia," DeLoach says.
Today they are a multi-national wholesale design company that produces luxury home accessories found in fine retail shops and hotels throughout the world. Beginning in January 2008, the new name for their collections became Gail DeLoach.
They remain committed to exploring traditional Asian materials and translating them into modern, sophisticated vernacular, and continue to devote particular attention to working with sustainable woods and fibers. Clean silhouettes, luxurious materials, and beautiful fabrications are their trademark. Gail DeLoach collections are produced in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
